Case Study: Auto Technology

Problem:

Auto Technology a premier manufacturer of innovative testing and metal finishing equipment was not getting the most out of their website. The website generated few leads and clients were not using it as a resource tool resulting in frequent support calls. They needed a website that would be an effective sales tool along with an in-depth informational database of the company’s product line.

Approach:

Starting on a scratch pad, owebtech laid out the new look and feel of the website. The initial landing page focused heavily on each product line, with easy access to in-depth product information. To help encourage potential customers to fill out contact request forms, owebtech designed each product line with its own inquiries forms.  To drive traffic to the website, search engine optimization (SEO) became a vital part of the project.

Results:

Within six months of the website launch, Auto Technology has ranked on the first or second page of every keyword that was initially targeted. This resulted in total inquiries to rise from 8 a month to over 21. Additionally, service inquires online raised to 35% from 15%, keeping staff off the phone during the day.
